Salvatore Giuliano is a 1962 Italian film directed by Francesco Rosi. It is a documentary like film about the lives of those affected by the famous Sicilian gangster, Salvatore Giuliano, who doesn't appears directly in the film. Instead, real villagers were casted for most of the scenes. The narrative moves back and forth in time, including courtroom, crime and political issues.
