Saltcoats, Saskatchewan

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Saltcoats is a small town in East Central Saskatchewan in Canada. The town's population is thought to be around 500. The town was built in the late 1800's, and it's economy was driven by the railroad. However, the train no longer stops in the town, leading to a downward economic spiral which could cause fiscal bankruptcy.

Saltcoats sits next to Anderson Lake, (Know to the locals as Saltcoats Lake) and has a small Regional Park.
