Salouf (until 1943 officially called Salux) is a municipality in the district of Albula in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.

The population is predominately Romansh-speaking.

A shield with a black background, in the middle a silver Lilie. In each corner and at the bottom is one six pointed silver star. The design is from the shield (wappen) of Benedict Fontana (national hero of the Grisons) who lived in Salouf.

The village lies on a ledge on the east side of Piz Toissa (2657 meters).

The main language of the local people is Surmeirn, which is a spoken style of Rätoroman. Until 1980, the majoity of the community majority spoke Romansch. In 1880 it was 99,1% and in 1980 it was 88,54%.
