Salorno (Italian) or Salurn (German) is a comune (municipality) in the South Tyrol in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 20 km northeast of Trento and about 30 km southwest of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,160 and an area of 33.2 km2.[1]

The municipality of Salorno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Pochi and Cauria.

Salorno borders the following municipalities: Capriana, Cembra, Kurtinig an der Weinstraße, Neumarkt, Faver, Giovo, Grauno, Grumes, Margreid an der Weinstraße, Mezzocorona, Montan, Roverè della Luna, and Valda.

Salorno has a great natural park called "Parco monte corno"
