Sally Benson

Sally Benson (September 3, 1897 - July 19, 1972 in Los Angeles, California) was a St. Louis-born screenwriter and short-story writer. Benson began her career writing articles and film reviews for the New York Morning Telegraph. Two of her short stories, "Junior Miss" and "Meet Me in St. Louis" were made into films. She wrote the screenplay for the 1963, Walt Disney comedy film, Summer Magic.
