The Salisbury Highway (National and State Route A13) is a major connecting road in the northern suburbs of the Adelaide metropolitan area.
The Highway is dual carriageway in its entirety, where it starts in Elizabeth as John Rice Avenue. Past the suburb of Salisbury it takes on its Salisbury Highway name. It then runs parallel to Main North Road (A20), crossing over the A18 (Kings Road) and A1 (Port Wakefield Road) before curving away to the west. Salisbury Highway ends at the interchange which links it with the ongoing Port River Expressway (State routes A9 and M3) and South Road (which continues with the state route designation of A13).
