Salem Township, Ottawa County, Ohio

Salem Township is one of the 12 townships that make up Ottawa County, Ohio. It is located in the center of the county and forms part of the border with Sandusky County. It is one of fourteen Salem Townships in Ohio.
The following townships and municipalities border Salem Township:
- Bay Township (east)
- Benton Township (northwest)
- Carroll Township (north)
- Erie Township (northeast)
- Harris Township (west)
- Rice Township, Sandusky County (south)
- Washington Township, Sandusky County (southwest corner)
- The village of Oak Harbor is completely surrounded by the township
The Portage River also runs through Salem Township, from west to east before emptying into Lake Erie.
