Sale Urban District was, from 1894 to 1935, an urban district in the administrative county of Cheshire, England, which covered the town of Sale.

It was created by the Local Government Act 1894, though was expanded in 1930 by adding the Ashton upon Mersey Urban District. In 1935 the area became a Municipal borough by the appropriate name of Sale Municipal Borough.

On the abolition of the administrative counties and its districts by the Local Government Act 1972 its area was included in the metropolitan borough of Trafford in the metropolitan county of Greater Manchester.
