Sal Masekela

Sal Masekela is an American television host. He has hosted shows such as Ballbreakers (which he hosted along with Ewa Mataya Laurance and Adrianne Curry) and E!'s The Daily 10.

He has appeared on several shows on the Game Show Network, including Lingo. Sal is also the host of the X Games.

Sal has also appeared on all three Tony Hawk Gigantic Skatepark Tours, which ran from 2000-2002.

Sal has also appeared on the Feb 22 2007 episode of SpikeTV's Pro's vs Joe's.

Sal is the son of the famous South African jazz musician Hugh Masekela. He is of South African and Haitian descent and was raised in Staten Island, NY and San Diego, CA, where he attended Carlsbad High School. Sal currently resides in Los Angeles.

Sal is the older brother of Survivor: Cook Islands contestant Nathan Gonzalez.

Considered by many as the voice of the Action Sports community.

Sal is the co-founder of Stoked Mentoring . The foundation takes at risk inner city kids to the beach to surf, to the streets to skate, and to the mountains to snowboard.
