Saint Anthony Park is a vibrant neighborhood in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This neighborhood is adjacent to the University of Minnesota's St. Paul Campus, bordering Northeast Minneapolis on the west, the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on the east, and the suburbs of Falcon Heights and Lauderdale to the north. The neighborhood is famous for its tree-lined streets, historic homes, unique shopping area and its public schools. Originally set out as estates for the wealthy of Minneapolis in the late 1800s, it has become a neighborhood of college professors, professionals, international students and ordinary working people. It is centrally located in the Twin Cities, providing a quaint, pedestrian-friendly business district that contains many services - including many independently owned shops and restaurants. The St. Anthony Park Branch Library, a Carnegie library built in 1917, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was expanded in 1999 with a children's wing. The top-rated St. Anthony Park Elementary School and Murray Junior High School are other focal points of the neighborhood. St. Anthony Park was the home to three Minnesota governors (William Raine Marshall, 1866-70; Andrew Ryan McGill, 1887-1889; and Elmer L. Andersen; 1961-63). St. Anthony Park, known to residents as SAP, is home to two colleges, the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota and the Luther Seminary, and thus home to graduate students from across the world. The largest area park, Langford Park, is named for former St. Anthony Park resident Nathaniel P. Langford, who helped create the world's first national park (Yellowstone National Park). Other famous former St. Anthony Park residents include: author, humorist and radio show host Garrison Keillor; Nobel Prize winning author, Saul Bellow; children's author, Carol Ryrie Brink; John F. Kennedy Chairman of Council of Economic Advisors Walter Heller; physician, poet, etymologist, essayist, Lewis Thomas; psychologist B.F. Skinner; presidential advisor Eugene Young; and architect, Sarah Susanka.

Saint Anthony Park is the only metropolitan neighborhood in the twin cities that hosts its own 4th of July Parade, which is followed by an all-day, all-neighborhood party in Langford Park.

Saint Anthony Park is served by a monthly newspaper, the Park Bugle. There are many active local organizations, ranging from writing groups to the St. Anthony Park Foundation. Another example is the St. Anthony Park Neighbors for Peace, a large and active organization that advocates for peace and justice issues.
