Sahraoui Scout Association

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Western Sahara, home to the Sahraoui Scout Association (Arabic: اتحاد الكشافة الصحراوي‎) is one of 35 countries where Scouting exists (be it embryonic or widespread) but where there is no National Scout Organization which is yet a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. Scouting is being developed in Western Sahara with the assistance of Scouts from the Canary Islands.

The Scout Motto is Kun Musta'idan or كن مستعدين, translating as "Be Prepared" in Arabic. The noun for a single Scout is Kashaf or كشاف in Arabic.
