Sahaidachny

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sahaidachny (Ukrainian: Сагайдак; sahaidak; or quiver) was a nickname of Petro Konashevych.

According to some linguists and historians, such as Samuel Linde, it was supposed to be a Cossack military rank equivalent to field hetman in XVI century. This theory, however, is wrong[1].
