Saguaro High School is notably different than other high schools in its district. It has all five disciplines in its performing arts department -- Orchestra, Band, Dance, Theatre and Choir.

The Saguaro Orchestra is divided into three classes: Symphonic, Concert, and Intermediate. The Symphonic is an audition only, award-winning group. Having recently received Superiors at ABODA competitions, they have also won a second place at the Heritage festival in Chicago.
