Sagar Pawan

Sagar Pawan (Sea breeze), is the aerobatic demonstration team of the Indian Navy's Aviation Arm. The team is primarily composed of the indigenously manufactured fighter, the Kiran Mk II, and they're based at the Dabolim Naval Air Station in Goa. The aerobatic team consists of four HAL Kiran trainer aircraft painted in dark blue and white paint scheme.The team was formed in 2003 and performed for the first time on the 50th anniversary of Indian Naval Aviation in May 03. Since then the team has performed spectacular displays at Kochi, Visakhapatnam, Mumbai( Gateway of India) and at the their home location at Goa. They are also one of the star performers at the International Film Festival of India. The team today is the only second fixed wing active Naval Aerobatic Team in the world after the Blue Angels.
