Safenwil is a municipality in the district of Zofingen in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.

Rock carvings in the historical landmark the Eberkopf (German: Boar's Head) confirm the town to be old as 893 AD. Safenwil's coat of arms depicts a boar's head.
