Muddying the waters of the 9/11 Commission, was the fact that a second Saeed al-Ghamdi had initially been involved in the plotting of the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack. Not to be confused with Saeed al-Ghamdi, the hijacker who was successful in his attempts to enter the United States.
Born May 5th 1981, Saeed Abdullah al-Ghamdi applied to enter the United States on November 13 2000, a year after completing school. He was the only Saudi potential hijacker known to have been declined a Visa, having identified himself as unemployed on his visa application.
