Sadang Station (사당역) is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2 and Seoul Subway Line 4.
Sadang Station has one island platform for Line 4 and one side platform for Line 2. The Line 2 platform of this station is the first in Korea to have platform screen doors installed, on October 21, 2005. This station is a terminus for trains that belong to the Seoul Metro.
Both Line 2 and 4 stations are located in Sadang-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul.
Sadang Station serves as a major transportation hub for the southern side of Seoul, and suburban cities south of Seoul such as Gwacheon. There are multiple vendor stands selling everything from dalk-go-chi (chicken on a stick) to 10,000 won (about ten dollars) shoes. Sadang Station is similar to Sindorim Station in being a major transportation hub but with little to do nearby the station.
Also in the area are many Karaoke bars, and so called "Men's Clubs." These are night entertainment spots popular to the businessmen who come in to enjoy the company of young women while everyone drinks and sings karaoke.
Sadang also serves as home to a small foreign population.
