[edit] Synopsis
John, Chiana, Sikozu and Rygel travel to the planet of Arnessk in the Leviathan Elack, where they meet up with Jool, D'Argo, and Noranti, who were last seen being sucked through a wormhole in Dog With Two Bones. They don't remember what happened to them, but they traveled to Arnessk so Jool could meet up with others of her species. Arnessk is an abandoned planet due to dangerous magnetic flare conditions, but there are important archeological remains there--12,000 years ago, there were Priests there who helped to make peace for generations. Also there is an amphibious creature, Oo-Ni. Noranti tells Crichton she's trying to protect what is there from falling into the wrong hands of the Interior archaeologist Vella. She also shows Crichton an insect-like creature and, if you inhale its contents, you will not care about anything for 500 microts. Noranti subsequently kills Vella. Noranti also hits John with some vision-causing dust, and he has a vision of events on the planet years ago, and he sees an artifact, a probe, that has writing in it in Interion, Sebacean, and one that looks like Egyptian hieroglyphics, hinting at a possible relationship.
Meanwhile, Grayza's Command Carrier is arriving and she is taking several Marauders down to the planet, along with Braca. They capture Chiana, John, Noranti, and Jool immediately. Grayza then brings out Scorpius, who is tied on a leash and walking on all fours like an animal. She makes him lick the bottom of her boot, then offers John the opportunity to get him to do anything John wants, in order that she show John he's got nothing to fear. John declines. Grayza then approaches John and puts some kind of oil from her chest under his nose, which causes him to kiss her. It acts as a powerful aphrodisiac, and allows Grayza to control John--he tells her she can have anything she wants, and under its influence she rapes him. Later he is seen curled up in a fetal position, looking distressed, when Noranti finds him. As the episode ends, Noranti uses her vision-causing powder to force him to jump off the cliff into the water so he won't tell anyone that he knows where the probe is that he saw in his other vision.
