Sacha Dhawan

Sacha Dhawan is an English actor. He has performed on stage, film, television and radio.

[edit] Early life and training
Dhawan is from Bramhall, in Greater Manchester, England.[1] His family background is Hindu.[2]
Dhawan trained at the Laine-Johnson Theatre School in Manchester, having started acting at the age of twelve.[2] He attended Aquinas College in Stockport.[1]

Dhawan originated the role of Akthar in Alan Bennett's play The History Boys. After playing Akthar in the original West End stage production, he went on to play Akthar in the Broadway, Sydney, Wellington and Hong Kong productions and radio and film versions of the play.[3][4]

Dhawan has appeared in a number of television shows in the United Kingdom, including Perfectly Frank, Weirdsister College, Altogether Now, City Central, The Last Train and Out of Sight II and III.[5]
