In 1979 Sacha Cosmetics Ltd. was established in Trinidad and Tobago by its founder Kama Maharaj.
Sacha claim that their main vision is to be the world's leader in cosmetics for women of exotic skintones.
Sacha was the official brand of cosmetics for the 1999 Miss Universe Pageant, the 2000 Miss USA Pageant and the 2001 Miss USA Pageant.
Wendy Fitzwilliam, Miss Universe 1998, is Sacha's official spokesperson.
