SACPE

SACPE, originally known as Sino American Culture & Performance Exchange Association, attended by American and Asian scholars, producers, artists and travel agents, was established and registered in 1992 in New York City, USA.

SACPE has been sending American high quality arts troupes to perform in nationwide China, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan since 1993. This opened the example of large Western entertaining group entering China in the earliest historical period of Chinese reformation, such like "Legends In Concert" Las Vegas Show performed in Shanghai and other cities during Dec 21, 1993 to Jan 10, 1994 while the Former Chairman Mao, Zedong's 100th Anniversary - The very cold season for both natural and political weather. And "Playboy's Girl of Rock n' Road" has been performed in China from Dec 30, 1994 to Jan 30, 1995 after SACPE producer Danny Dong had been invited to Mr. Hughes' Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, 1994. This is the only Playboy Show, which has ever entered China. In 1995-2005, SACPE invited 18 Chinese and Asian national performing arts groups to participate the public performances, college demonstrations and international arts festivals in USA, which have highly enhanced the friendship between USA and China as well as the mutual understanding between two peoples.

SACPE opened the door for Broadway show into China and brought the only Playboy Show, which has ever entered China.
