Sabrosa Purr is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, comprised of members Will Love, Jacob Thompson and Jeff Mendel. They released their self-produced debut EP, "Music From The Violet Room" on Dangerbird Records to critical raves in October of 2005, finding themselves in the Top Ten Albums of 2005 for many tastemakers' lists including that of Bagel Radio, CMJ's Specialty Music Director of the Year 2005. Their full length album "To The Crickets And The Ghosts" is scheduled for release in the fall of 2007. The new full-length album is being produced by the band and Tracy Chisholm (Stone Temple Pilots, Belly, Scott Weiland, Devics).

The lineup consists of Will Love (vocals/guitar), Jacob Thompson (drums), and Jeff Mendel (Lead Guitar and Foot Bass). Having performed successful residencies in two of LA's most important venues, "Silverlake Lounge" and "Spaceland" upon the release of their E.P. "Music From The Violet Room" and playing at New York's Fashion Week and CMJ New Music Marathon, 2006 established Sabrosa Purr as one of LA's most promising young acts. The Purr have shared the stage with other LA notables, Burning Brides, Silversun Pickups, Cold War Kids, Devics, Pedestrian, Cheem, Division Day, Parepin and The Revolution Smile and served as the opening act for 30 Seconds to Mars on the first few dates of their tour supporting "A Beautiful Lie".
