IMDb profile |
Sabretooth is a 2002 film directed by James D.R. Hickox. It premiered on the Sci-Fi Channel on November 16, 2002. It is notable for its extremely poor quality of special-effects, which render the eponymous Sabretooths as little more than cartoon characters.
[edit] Plot
Using fossilized DNA, a scientist creates a prehistoric saber-toothed tiger. As the fearsome creature is being transported, it breaks free and begins stalking human prey. In addition to the poor special effects, the film also presents a wide range of horror film clichés and plot holes that make the viewing of this feature humorous to many individuals - gaining an almost 'cult status' with young people in different parts of the world. The film has received mixed feedback, acknowledging its general poor quality but praising it for its strong cast and entertainment value. [1]
