Saboteur:Viva La Resistance is not your average mission based World War 2 video game. Saboteur:Viva La Resistance is a open world game set in Nazi occupied France during WW2 and is set to be released sometime in 2008.
[edit] Plot
On the eve of World War 2, an Irishman known only as "Sean" has been frequenting racing circles in Paris, even participating in the French Grand Prix. Nazi Presence is increasing every day, but Sean doesn't necessarily consider it his problem...until one day, when everything changes for him.
When the Nazi's invade France, Sean loses everything, but above all he loses his family and friends. It is now Sean's job to take out the Nazi general who authorized the attack and his number two man, Dierker who allegedly killed his family and friends.
[edit] Use of color
Pandemic has decided to use a brand new groundbreaking use of color in the game that resembles Sin City. The whole game starts off in black and white, except for certain items. But, if a player can complete enough acts of sabotage in a certain area, it will transform the dreary black and white to vibrant colors in real time. As the color changes the NPC's and amount of Nazi's in the area also change. The NPC's population increases and are far more likely to resist the Nazi threats. The most intesting aspect of the color changes is when you are on the border of lush, colorful, happy enviroment, looking into a black and white landscape. As Sean runs from a light to dark area, the color gradualy changes down to zero over a distance of about 20 feet, as dark clouds cut off the blue skies.
