Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

[edit] Early years on Krynn

Sable made an especially long journey to Ansalon, taking a full two years to reach the eastern coast. She claimed New Coast, settiling for it as she was too tired to continue fighting. She found that the area was not to her liking, and so, like the other Overlords, re-shaped it drastically, turning into a great swamp, taking into it New Sea and the ogre nation of Blödehelm as well. She then harnessed the power of a dragon totem, growing larger and stronger. Sable morphed the local wildlife into strange creatures, and also made herself dragonspawn.

Sable was present in the battle that occurred during Malys's attempted ascension to godhood. She killed Jasper Fireforge, however despite this Malys was stopped in her ascension. Sable then retreated to her lair, as did the other Overlords.

Sable was not fond of having many dragons as her servants, preferring to enlist ogres, draconians, and bakali to her cause. She did have some dragons though, chief amongst them Mintigoth, or Oil. He patrolled her lair constantly, and his son also served Sable. His son was known as Ricandroth, or Dire. He guarded her lair.

[edit] The War of Souls

The War of Souls had little effect on Sable, and she soon became the most powerful Overlord due to the death of Beryl, Malys, and Khellendros. Sable protected herself, building her power. Dhamon Grimwulf, now magically in the form of a shadow dragon, does battle with the Overlord and slays her. Dhamon soon dies though; his wounds were grievous.
