Sabine Ehrenfeld

Sabine Ehrenfeld (born November 27, 1963) is a German model and actress. She is best known for her role in a series of advertisements as the spokesperson for web retailer Overstock.com. She moved to the United States in the mid-1980s.

Sabine (pronounced "Sa-BEEN-uh") Ehrenfeld first appeared on national TV in a series of long-running spots for Special K cereal (without any lines; it was strictly voiceover) in the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, as well as a series of spots for Kotex in the mid-to-late 1990s.

In mid-2005, Ehrenfeld was replaced by a different actress on Overstock.com's TV and radio commercials, but soon after returned as the spokesperson, following shrill protests from her fans. She also appeared in a holiday-themed Lexus automobile commercial that aired throughout the month of December 2005.

Ehrenfeld has had modest roles in films, television shows, and stage productions. She has spent time working with the Groundlings improvisational comedy troupe.

According to internet reports, Ehrenfeld is an accomplished pilot and equestrian as well as fluent in English, French, and Italian, in addition to German, and is also an expert pistol shot.

She is divorced from actor David Gordin, with whom she has two children.
