Sabayad

Sabayad or Kimis is a type of flatbread eaten in Somalia and Somaliland. It is closely related to the paratha.

This bread is very common in the Somali cuisine and it is usually eaten duing breakfast or dinner. It is made from a dough of flour, water and salt. Like the paratha, it is rolled into rough squares or circles and then quickly fried on a pan.
