[edit] Partial reversion of edit by User:KazakhPol

I partially reverted the edit by User:KazakhPol (see diff). Here are the parts I reverted and my reasons for doing so:

  1. Vertical vs. horizontal listing of {{cite news}}. I prefer vertical listing as I find it easier to edit (you do not become lost in a sea of url's and article titles. See, for example, how hard to read/edit the article 2006 Digampathana truck bombing while the references where still horizontal (look at the red-highlighted text on the left side).
  2. I do not know if there is a difference between <references/> and {{reflist}}, but I have seen the former far more times than the latter. If the latter is a new and better format that is gradually replacing the former, then I apologize for my reversion.
  3. Link: singular or plural - I think it is a WP style guideline to have External links (plural) even if there is just one link (as more may be added). I once ran across the userpage of a bot and one of its functions was to replace section header "External link" with "External links" (and "Reference" with "References").
  4. I have again categorized the article into Category:Wars involving Yemen as it may violate WP:NPOV to just classify in the "Terrorism in Yemen" category. However, for ease of navigation, I have not removed the article's categorization in Category:Terrorism in Yemen.

If you disagree with these reversions or I made a reversion in error (especially possible in the cases of #2), please reinstate your edits (please do not simply revert my edits as I have made some other changes as well) or comment here. Cheers, Black Falcon 04:53, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
