Saša Papac (born February 7, 1980 in Mostar, Herzegovina) is a Bosnian football defender.

Saša Papac has played for NK Široki Brijeg in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina and FC Kärnten and Austria Vienna in Austria.

He currently plays for Scottish Premier League club Rangers after signing on August 31, 2006 for £450,000 [1]. He became Rangers' third signing from Austria Vienna in the 2006 summer transfer window, after Libor Sionko and Filip Šebo. Papac also plays for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Papac made his first apearance for Rangers on September 17, coming on as a half time substitute for Stevie Smith in an SPL game against Hibernian.

Papac quit international football in March 2007, saying "I am totally finished with the national team. There are too many problems with the national association".[2]

As the season progresses ever closer to its climax papac has started to claim a place in the starting line up ahead of Ian Murray and the injured Stevie Smith and is likely to be one of the few players from the PLG era to remain at the club.
