Bose in their disproof of the famous Leonhard Euler’s conjecture made in 1782. Euler conjectured that there do not exist two mutually orthogonal latin squares of order 4n + 2 for every n. Their discovery became front page news in the Sunday Edition of New York Times of April 26, 1959.
