Chemical elements, and a characteristic isotope distribution typically produced by the nuclear S-process of slow neutron accumulation and subsequent beta decay.

The S-process is responsible for the abundance maxima at Zr, Ba and Pb, as opposed to the maxima at Kr, Te and Pt which are believed to have originated in the R-process.
