From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Södra Vätterbygdens Folkhögskola (SVF) is a folk high school located in the town Jönköping, Sweden. In total it has around 300 students.

The designated focal point of the folk high school is Bible studies, but it still offers all standard courses that will ensure a gymnasium diploma. It also offers education with the fields of journalism, graphic design and music. Also, it has a specially designated class for young people with Asperger syndrome.

The school has an exchange program known as "the college line" (collegelinjen in Swedish) with North Park University in Chicago, Illinois, with a history tracing back to 1976/77. Many students come from the U.S. to Sweden for the fall and Swedish students come back with them in the spring to study at North Park University.
