Sinceramente eu acho que deveria estar escrito "Vale do Paraíba" e não "Paraiba Valley", por que, além de rídiculo, soa extremamente mal e não se deve traduzir nomes próprios.

Se colocamos Paraíba Valley, deveriamos mudar todos os nomes para o inglês, começando com Saint Joseph of the Fields (rs).

This should be Paraíba Valley, because valley is a geographical feature that should be in English. This is not changing a proper name. The same goes with many other names- such as Rio Amazonas is the Amazon River in English. Conversely, Brazilians call the Mississippi River Rio Mississippi, which is acceptable.--Adam ^(talk) 14:01, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

Eu acho que não é tudo isso, não tem esse tanto de gente no Vale do Paraiba, no Litoral e no Sul de Minas. E mesmo que tivesse 2 milhões de pessoas, falar que TODOS eles vão para São José trabalhar é sacanagem. Esse dado eu não corrigi por que não tenho como obter o número real.

I am doing some copy-editing and will fix the wording. The author estimated that the region has 2 million people. The number I got for the region was 1,170,381. That's much closer to 1 million people than two.--Adam ^(talk) 14:08, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
