Ryan McLaren

Ryan McLaren (born February 9, 1983) is a South African cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Born in Kimberley, Northern Cape, he made his first-class debut for Free State (now called Eagles) in October 2003, taking two wickets and scoring 25 runs.

He had also appeared eight times for South Africa Under-19's, during the 2001/02 Under-19 World Cup.

He agreed to join Kent on a Kolpak deal for the 2007 season. His cousin, Adrian McLaren plays for Griqualand West in South African domestic cricket.
