Ryan Houlihan (born January 21, 1982) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.

Houlihan made his debut for the Carlton Football Club in 2000 after being selected in the AFL Draft at #73 in 1999. Houlihan quickly had an impact for Carlton as a classy, skillful, running forward, with an uncanny ability to kick goals and was nominated for the AFL Rising Star award in 2000. He is part of a family that has produced many AFL footballers, including brothers Damian Houlihan, Josh Houlihan and Adam Houlihan.

Houlihan is a highly skilled player who has been extremely versatile and able to play a variety of positions. After initially playing as a forward, he became a solid contributor off the half-back line for the Carlton Football Club and more recently as a wing/ midfielder.
