Ryan Hoffman (born January 26, 1984) was born in Canberra and is a Rugby League player who plays for the Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League. Ryan plays in the Second Row, and has played Representative football for City Origin.

Ryan Hoffman started his career with Melbourne in 2003. A big backrower, with the ball playing skills of a back, Hoffman is regarded as one of many rising stars in the NRL. Throughout his career however, Storm coach Craig Bellamy regarded him as a little 'soft'. The words of his mentor seemingly turned Hoffman's form around and he hit a new level of consistency in 2006, leading to him representing City for the first time. Among other achievements, Hoffman was given the award for forward of the year at his club in 2006 and many regarded him as one of several players responsible for the Storm's magnificent form throughout 2006.[citation needed]
