Ryan Hall (born January 4, 1988 in England) is a footballer who plays for Crystal Palace in The Championship. He wears the number 40 shirt, and is a midfielder.
Ryan came through the Palace academy, and now usually plays down the left-wing for the Crystal Palace Reserves, in which he is a regular. He has pace and a good cross to boast of.
He was given his first professional contract in May 2005, but is yet to make his debut for the first team in any game. He would have hoped to in 2006-07 season, under new manager, England under-21 coach Peter Taylor, but had his number 32 shirt taken away from him. He remained contracted to the club, only playing for Kit Symons' Reserve side, before being given the number 40 shirt. He did not feature in the first half of that season, and was sent on loan to Lewes of the Conference South to gain experience. Hall scored on his senior debut for Lewes against Fisher Athletic, although Lewes went on to lose 5-1.
