Ryan Courtien (born April 19, 1977 in Putnam Lake, New York) is a math teacher and dean of students at Fordham Leadership Academy for Business and Technology in The Bronx, New York

Ryan Courtien was born in Putnam Lake, New York to Thomas Courtien and Eileen Courtien. His father is a manager at Crown Trophy and his mother works in Patient Relations at Putnam Hospital Center. Ryan has one younger brother, Brendan.

Ryan went to Garden Street School (Kindergarten), Brewster Elementary School (1st Grade), Patterson Elementary School (2nd - 4th Grades), George Fisher Middle School (5th - 8th grades) and Carmel High School (9th - 12th) graduating in June 1995. He excelled in mathematics and the sciences.

Ryan went to SUNY Plattsburgh and graduated in May 2001 with a BA in Political Science. Currently Ryan attends Lehman College and will graduate in May 2007 with a MSEd in Mathematics 7-12

Ryan Courtien married Suzanne Calligan of The Bronx, New York on September 14, 2002. They have one child: Mackenzie Calligan Courtien (2006)
Ryan lives in Dover, New York.
