Ryan James Anderson (born May 6, 1988, in Sacramento, California) is a freshman college basketball player. Anderson plays the power forward position at the University of California.

Anderson graduated from Oak Ridge High School (located in El Dorado Hills, California) in 2006. At the high school level, Anderson averaged 28.9 points per game his senior year making him the third leading scorer in the state of California for the 2005-2006 season. During Anderson's junior year at Oak Ridge he lead the team to a to a Division II State Championship.
