Ryan Amoo (born 11 October 1983 in Leicester), is an English footballer.

A utility player by nature, Amoo has demonstrated that playing in the defensive line and in particular anywhere across the middle of the pitch as his strong points, most notably on the right.

He began his career with Aston Villa, featuring in the FA Youth Cup winning side of 2002, before moving on to Northampton Town until being released in 2005.

After a period spent with the Leicestershire Senior League side Barrow Town, Ryan resurrected his professional career when, in July 2006 following a short period on trial, he signed a one-year contract with Lincoln City.

So far in the 2006/07 season, Amoo has seen the most competitive football of his entire career, which has come as a surprise to some as his performances have been solid throughout.

Amoo briefly gained minor celebrity status for dating the reality television star Jade Goody, but the pair broke up after 6 months.
