After his aunt dumped him because of money problems, Ryan frantically phones Clark for help while being held against his will in a laboratory that is performing experiments on him. Clark manages to rescue Ryan but he soon finds out that despite all his efforts and his abilities, he may not be able to save Ryan from something much bigger.
