Ryōmō Line

The Ryōmō Line (両毛線 Ryōmō-sen?) is a trunk railway line between Oyama and Maebashi in Japan. 84.4 km (52.4 miles) long, the line is owned and operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR-East) as part of the Greater Tokyo Area rail network.

Most Ryōmō Line services continue beyond Shin-Maebashi and terminate at Takasaki on the Jōetsu Line. Limited express trains on this route include the Akagi from Maebashi to Ueno, Shinjuku, and Shibusawa.
