RXM

RXM is the stage name used by Roach McKrackin aka David Benedetti, a Boston-based Ragga Jungle & Dancehall DJ/Producer.
After over 10 years in a local punk rock band called Entrophy, Roach decided to change direction, and began producing Hip-Hop for local acts. As a result of this, he soon found his way into the local DJ scene, which in turn turned him on to electronic music.
After experimenting for a bit, he finally found his niche playing Jungle and Drum 'n' Bass, and started making the rounds on the Boston and Providence club circuits.
As time went on, he started to gravitate more and more toward the more reggae-influenced ragga jungle, and as a result began to incorporate more and more Dancehall Reggae into his sets.
In the Summer of 2005, RXM, along with his girlfriend and longtime collaborator Michelle Sjosted, founded Dubplate Culture, a weekly event that serves to bring the Boston Jungle and Dancehall scenes together with a unique format.
