[edit] Images
Also, I noticed you upload a lot of anime images and tag them as {{screenshot}}. Currently, I'm going through the Category: Fair use screenshots and applying a more specific tag. I would appreciate it if you added a more descriptive tag, like {{game-screenshot}}, or {{film-screenshot}}. Thanks. Thunderbrand 23:46, August 23, 2005 (UTC)
- Thank your for noticing me. I never noticed there where more specific screenshot categories... I'm gonna be fixing a lot of screenshot tags in the inmediate future :).Rvalles 02:26, August 24, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] A 1337 translation...
Ah! You are a native 1337 speaker...May I request a translation here on the RD? See WP:RD/M#Help_with_translating_this_into_1337. Thank you! --HappyCamper 20:44, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
- I was a bit late on this one, but feel free to ask whether you need 1337 translations ;)Rvalles 03:36, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Greeneyes
No problem. I'm one who tends to oppose AfD's unless they have a very compelling argument. And most AfD's (especially with web comics) do not. Glad to have you as a reader! Xuanwu 05:41, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image:The Settlers SVGA.png
Hi. You created Image:The Settlers SVGA.png. I think this is a creation from your behalf. Do you agree to license your creation under the terms of a free license, so I can use it on an article on wikibooks?`http://sv.wikibooks.org/wiki/The_Settlers_spelmanual
If I use other screenshots you have created, do you also release them under a free license?
Fred-Chess 00:53, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
- I'm against Intelectual Property as a whole myself (I'd only leave recognision of authorship (selfness) and maybe some sane trademarking), so no problems on my side (everything I release, I release copylefted, be it the GNU General Public License or Creative Commons by-sa). The problem resides not in my side, but on the side of the "owners" of The Settlers. While I can say whatever I feel apropiate, it's a screenshot of their game, and so you musk ask them for permission, not me. It was fine to include it in wikipedia, tho, since it fell under fair use. So I'm afraid I cannot help you too much; since I'm not too familiar with wikibooks, it may or may not be fair use in there. By the way, nice wikibook. -- Roc VallèsTalk|Hist - 06:21, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
- I should really start an article on selfness, but in the meanwhile, if you're wondering what selfness is, check http://www.cortell.net/2005/12/04/oslo-nuug-slides-and-video-online/
[edit] Pirate Party
I saw that you moved this article to the Swedish name Piratpartiet. I've moved the article back to the English title, as the standard is to have the parties under English article names. See the talk page for more info. -- Elisson • Talk 20:10, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Computer and video game development tools: Fenix Project
I was seen that Fenix Project wasn't on english version of wikipedia, now it's added a little entry, it could be nice if someone helping to translate the spanish article to english and moving the necessary articles as you can see in Wikipedia:Requested_moves (January 9, 2006). Timofonic 01:45, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

- It was done by someone, not needed now. Timofonic 06:03, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Help creating a WikiProject: WikiProject SEGA
I see SEGA stuff is too few in Wikipedia and must be a lot fixed and expanded. What about a WikiProject SEGA for helping to do this? I'm too new and need a lot help about this. I can also help to the spanish counterpart ;) Timofonic 01:45, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Buffer Overflow Article
On 4 October 2005, you said "Buffer overflow could be improved alot". I agreed, work is underway and there have IMO been massive improvements. Just wondering what you think now. Cheers, Tompsci 01:37, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- What's dlmalloc and how does it relate to the exploitation of buffer overflows? Note the response on my talk page. -- Tompsci 17:41, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Planetarian ~ちいさなほしのゆめ~ save.png)
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Planetarian ~ちいさなほしのゆめ~ save.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Kevin_b_er 22:19, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] [O]NScripter
Just to let you know, I've merged ONScripter into NScripter, since both articles were very short and it didn't seem to make much sense making people look in two places. Plus, it seems reasonable to describe a clone of an engine in the same article as the engine itself.
If you feel strongly that they should be separate articles, feel free to revert the merge. — Haeleth Talk 17:46, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Amiga
I noticed on WikiProject Computing that you listed Amiga under your specialties. There are so many articles on Amiga hardware, software, games, culture, etc here that could use clarification, expansion, etc. It'd be really awesome if we could even get several of them up to featured article quality.
Anyway, if you're interested in helping, I hope you'll join the new WikiProject Amiga. If you know other people particularly knowledgeable about the realm of the Amiga platform, invite them too. --Anivron 01:10, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
