In chess, C92 is the ECO code for the Ruy Lopez, Closed, 9.h3 chess opening. The game begins 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 a6 4.Ba4 Nf6 5.O-O Be7 6.e1 b5 7.Bb3 O-O 8.c3 d6 9.h3. Black continues a number of ways: ...a5 (Keres), ...Be6 (Kholmov), ...Nd7 (Ragozin-Petrosian), ...Bb7 (Zaitsev). The Zaitsev has become a favorite weapon of Anatoli Karpov and he's played it nearly 35 times in world championships.
