Ruth Nelson

Ruth Nelson is the former head women’s volleyball coach at Louisiana State University (1981-1984) and the University of Houston (1974-1980).

In four seasons as head coach of the LSU Lady Tigers, Nelson compiled an overall record of 128-98, including a record of 8-3 in the Southeastern Conference.
