Rusty Allen

Rustee Allen (born in 1953) is a musician, best known as the bass guitar player for influential funk band Sly & the Family Stone from 1972 to 1975. Allen replaced Larry Graham, who was forced out of the group and went on to start his own band, Graham Central Station.
Allen was the bass player with Lighthouse for the Blind and also for Little Sister, with Hershal Kennedy, Willy Sparks, and David Stalins. Allen also played with Robin Trower and Bobby Womack.
Rustee also had lead a band called "Second Wind". This was a 1977-78 montage of fusion/jazz and funk. Rusty was considered the best Bass Player in the West Coast north of LA.
Rustee is currently working with Rustee Nails on a new project. "Psychic Change"
