Rust is a fictional character in the Marvel universe, and was a member of the mutant political group called the Resistants. He made his first appearance in Captain America #350.

The mutant named Rust was assembled by the Red Skull at his Smith Building in Washington alongside a rogue Scourge, a Watchdog, an ULTIMATUM agent, and a member of the Sweat Shop in order to confront the new Captain America, John Walker. Rust joined the others in battling Walker, using his powers to corrode a chair he had been using as a makeshift shield, but Walker hurled the chair at the Watchdog. Rust was apparently slain by Walker during their battle.
