Russell Springs is a town in Logan County, Kansas, United States. The population was 32 at the 2000 census.

Russell Springs is located at 38°54′40″N, 101°10′33″W (38.911215, -101.175917)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.9 km² (0.8 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 32 people, 15 households, and 10 families residing in the town. The population density was 16.5/km² (42.9/mi²). There were 24 housing units at an average density of 12.4/km² (32.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% white.

There were 15 households out of which 26.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.7% were married couples living together, and 33.3% were non-families. 26.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 20.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.13 and the average family size was 2.60.

In the city the population was spread out with 15.6% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 18.8% from 25 to 44, 18.8% from 45 to 64, and 40.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 56 years. For every 100 females there were 113.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.9 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $23,750, and the median income for a family was $25,000. Males had a median income of $18,125 versus $0 for females. The per capita income for the city was $15,773. None of the population and none of the families were below the poverty line.
