[edit] Osgood at Grinnell
Osgood's present administrative actions at Grinnell revolve around a strategic plan approved by the trustees in spring 2005. The five year plan's goals include expanding Grinnell's reputation throughout the United States and the world, strengthening the college's academic departments, improving the town of Grinnell, and increasing both alumni giving and tuition revenue.[citation needed]
Like many wealthy colleges, Grinnell underwent much construction and renovation on its campus in the 2000s. Though the plans began during the tenure of Pamela Ferguson, many of the projects have occurred under Osgood. World-renowned architect Cesar Pelli has designed several of the recent buildings.
